Help with Typography.
Hello. I started doing typography not too long ago and after following a bunch of tutorials on the internet, I'm quite satisfied with my own portrait. But then as I was browsing on Deviantart yesterday, I saw this typographic portrait of Nichkhun (from 2PM) and I was really amazed. Aside from the words, there are also some small patterns and whatnot that makes the whole portrait. My question is:
Can someone teach me how to do this on my own typography? Here's my work and the pic I saw on Deviantart:

Notice the cute patterns on his necktie and those lines all over the pic? I really want to do that so my portrait will look good too. And if anything, can someone teach me how to color typographic portraits and make them look legit and nice? I also want to learn how to do this kind of portrait. With big letters and such. It will really be a BIG help. Thanks in advance :) I'm using CS5 btw.
