1/2: you have to unzip the folder (assuming it is) and then put the font file or files in you font folder...that's under the control panel from the start menu.

1. the first example looks like they may have put the pictures on thier own layer and then feathered them.

1) Probably a layer mask? or crop the original picture and paste it in
2)You could use bigger textures or use the free transform tool
3)You put the font in your fonts folder on Windows control panel>fonts just paste it in there with Vista you can just install it from wherever you've extracted it too.

the layer masking is something you'll need a tutorial for it's hard at first kinda.

for 1# i would say to crop the orginal picture as said above then paste the picture of the other person/object onto that file as a new layer and then use the pologoynal lasso tool or just the lasso tool which evern you use best around the second picture and delete the selection so that all your are left with is th person/object not their backround.

But might also be best to use a layer mask instead of delete and maybe use the eraser tool to get rid of the backround of the second picture (instead of the lasso tool).

1. the easiest way to blend a picture is to use the eraser tool at around 20px with 0% harness, then erase around a person's face

2. right click directly on a texture and click "copy image"
paste it onto your document (ctrl+v)
if yuo want to usae a different part of that texture, use the move tool (the top-left in your tools palette)
