(no subject)
Hi, i run an icon community, and i gave someone posting access as a trial maker in october, every trial maker always gets 5 posts, in 3-4 weeks time and then my memebrs vote if they want them to stay as amaker i explain this to them even before they apply, and after i repeat it to them when they have been accepted... this person posted their first 3, then didnt post their fourth until a month after of the 3rd post. almost 4 months has gone by without a word, so i removed her from posting access, and she just now has been contacting me, she sent me 4 things in one day, asking if i can add her back so she can finish her last trial post... and idont know what to do, so im asking you guys...
i have 9 makers [including myself] and 3 trial makers who im pretty sure will be kept as makers, so that makes 12... i feel that already is alot of makers, but i love my makers, they are super nice and great makers... so im not going to remove any of them, so adding her would make 13... which isnt too bad, but at the same time, iv always run my community with those rules, and i always say, if you need to contact me to extend your trial time, feel free to i totally understand everyone has lives, and are busy and things come up, but she never once said anything to me about it... just dissapeared, and now is stalking my livejournal begging me to take her back... so what would you guys do? she seems nice enough, but then again, she never said anything to me for 4 months...i feel its just not fair to my other makers who completed their entries in time.
id really appreciate your guys advice, am i over reacting? should i just let her finish her trial posts and let my members vote?
