OMG I LOVE CONSPIRACY THEORIES!
I've got a bachelors in Science and I still don't believe man landed on the moon and that AIDS was created by the American government to control homosexuality through the free Hep B vaccinations that were mysteriously given free to the gay community not long before the first cases of HIV were announced in the US.

I love that the Tuskegee syphilis experiment and the Cold War radiation studies started off as just conspiracy theories and no one except 'the nutters' believed them and then later they were found to be true.

Okay, I believe the man on moon thing but ahhhh I did not know about the AIDS thing. I do remember watching a documentary on AIDS and was so surprised to learn that the first cases were only announced in 1981 when apparently, recent research says it has been around for longer. The origins are actually pretty fascinating!

Okay, the Tuskegee thing was just awful. I read about it now and blerghh, I am side-eyeing the U.S physicians of that time so hard. This Cold War thing is just as awful. I question the collective sanity of the U.S leaders in general. -_-

Most of my favourite theories have to do with space and extraterrestrial life, such as the Roswell incident, life on mars, the black knight satellite etc.

I read this book, I think it was called The AIDS Agenda and it was about this HIV researcher who found that there were proteins on the outside of HIV that matched other viruses that were totally unrelated and the pattern of spread and origin was totally sus. It was very interesting ( ... )

The main one here is about Harold Holt, he was the prime minister in the 60s, he went swimming at the beach and never came back, no body was found and the government decided an official inquiry into what happened to him was a waste of time and resources. *dramatic music plays*

but but but , :O. I thought PM's were pretty important! Were there any theories about how the govt. itself murdered him and covered it up or something? Cause not having an inquiry seems extremely shifty.

They are, they run the country!
There were theories like he had heart failure (was wasn't a healthy man), or he got caught in a rip, other more out-there theories are that he was taken by aliens or killed off because the didn't agree with something in the government.

I am kind of inclined to think somebody offed him. It seems more dramatic that way.

I didn't know about the AIDS one! The official version here is that it is coming from Africa after some monkeys escaped from labs where they were searching for a vaccines against ebola. No idea of the releavance of it tbh.

so true!!

There are a few official theories, the main one is that HIV is a variant of SIV (simian immunodeficiency virus), depending on where you read it made the jump to humans by a either a bite, people living in close proximity to infected monkeys or someone fucked a monkey.
I've never heard one involving ebola research though.

I didn't know that. It sounds plausible.

I tried to find a text about it to link you but I failed :/

1. I do not like dogs, and am apparently the worst person in the world because of it. I also don't like cats. I don't like pet-animals at all, and wish people would stop judging me because I have a cold, black heart! (Yep. People always have opinions on my lack of opinion when it comes to animals. People suck). I do love Orcas & Dolphins though.

2. I get annoyed at people really easily, so what I look for is someone who is balanced just right to the point where they don't annoy me. Yeah, I'm awful. Which probably means what interests me in a person is finding someone who can tolerate me as well.

Have you heard of Total Drama Island? It could potentially be a fun show for you. It takes the piss out of survivor and stuff, and is actually hilarious even though it's a kids show. IDK.

There are so few of us though. Are you judged for not liking pets either?

Aw man, that's okay. Not liking animals is completely fine.People do suck a lot sometimes.

I love Dolphins. They are cute and intelligent! ( and sexually aggressive too but that's another thing). Orcas are flat out majestic. Plus, they are intelligent and charismatic too.

The way I see it, there is no point in humouring people you do not like or cannot tolerate. With your way, you get to weed out the chaff and keep the ones that matter.

I've heard about it. Never checked it out tho. Kids shows are not a problem for me. I tend to enjoy media aimed at kids because it's always relaxing to watch. Shows for adults require a lot more thinking and angsting on my part. :)
