I kid you not, our govt are a bunch of incompetent jackasses. Our Intelligence Bureau is a joke, as is our Reasearch and Analysis Wing, we spend millions on weapons but wont equip our soliders, the list just goes on. Trust me when I say this, my government is incapable of keeping secrets. Everything spills out sooner or later. :D
We do have one theories though. One is about Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. He was a freedom fighter who was a part of the Indian National Congress but was thrown out because his views did not align with Gandhi's. Anyway, during our independence struggle ( which was in its final years during WWII), Netaji sough Nazi Germany and Japan's help. When those plans failed, he went off to seek asylum in the USSR but his plane crashed in Taiwan. He is said to have died in that crash but his followers did not believe in the news. They claimed that he is alive, but in hiding and reported sightings of him everywhere. Our govt also instituted this committee to find out what happened to him but the committee never got to disclose its findings. That is food for thought.
Other than this, we dont have a single conspiracy theory. This is actually depressing news.

The main one here is about Harold Holt, he was the prime minister in the 60s, he went swimming at the beach and never came back, no body was found and the government decided an official inquiry into what happened to him was a waste of time and resources. *dramatic music plays*
but but but , :O. I thought PM's were pretty important! Were there any theories about how the govt. itself murdered him and covered it up or something? Cause not having an inquiry seems extremely shifty.
They are, they run the country! There were theories like he had heart failure (was wasn't a healthy man), or he got caught in a rip, other more out-there theories are that he was taken by aliens or killed off because the didn't agree with something in the government.
