Say, hypothetically, at the conclusion of the Fall 2007 semester I created a check list of what I wanted to accomplish over Christmas Break that looked like this:
- Watch movies
- Watch television (on DVD)
- Eat
- Play video games
- Think about fleshing out ideas for a story/script
- Think about working out
- Sleep
Then I have far and away, reached each and every single one of the aforementioned goals. I could release the “MISSION: ACCOMPLISHED” banners I have had stowed away for just such a special occasion. It’s sad, really, how lazy I have become, but I justify my actions by telling myself that I had a very trying semester, and that I need the rest. This may be true, but I need to become more disciplined and work out more and yadda yadda yadda. But I say that every year.
Anyways. Does anyone want to go somewhere with me over break? Say the casino? Let me know.
I got my grades. It was my best academic semester in all of my years at Grand Valley. Pretty cool huh? I guess I made the right choice in changing my major.
I just saw Walk Hard. It was ok. Nothing to write home about. I felt that it was trying to be satirical but it was just dumb. Anyways, that’s it.
