01/14. beginnings.

Yesterday, I'd been in this City for a month; and no one thought to congratulate me.
[A beat, and then amusement creeps back into his voice.]
I'm kidding. I can only expect so much, now can't I? A job, a place to stay, information on the City itself, friends. I've done well for myself. Even if the new neighbor is unruly.
Has anyone got any tips on getting what you want out of the library? I don't think it cares for me. And here I always fancied myself a charming sort of fellow. I rather think that until I've found a solution there, I'll go back to frequenting the gardens. I hear there's a new servant in them.
[--and thus begin two new projects, in addition to the existing one of investigating the City:
Learn more about the world and magics of Sakurazuka Seishirou and his acquaintances; and take out one's frustration at said man on a presumably helpless panther-creature making a nuisance of itself in November's favorite spot in the City.]
