Summary:'But there was none he liked to watch squirm so much as him...' Ghirahim contemplating the beautiful, wretched youth that so often foiled his plans. Not GhirahimxLink
He liked watching any human writhe in pain and shame. But there was none he liked to watch squirm so much as him.
Of course, he had been absolutely civil upon their first meeting. Ghirahim liked to leave a good first impression.
But the boy had been so rude, aggressively drawing his sword immediately after his simple greeting. So it followed that he had to keep a careful eye on the human. Not that he would be able to do much anyway.
The boy had determination though. Determination was a quality he admired. Utmost determination. That is what he would be rewarded for. That is what had got Ghirahim so far. That, as well as demonic powers and devilish good looks.
Though the youth was lacking in the demonic powers department, relying on that excuse for a sword from that wretched goddess, Ghirahim had to admit the quality they did share.
He was a pretty boy. As beautiful as once can be, for a human.
He was tempted to voice that thought out loud; it was good to admit one’s feelings, and he was sure by the boy’s innocent blue eyes that the sentiment was sure to humiliate him. He clearly had no experience in these matters, if his awkward cues were evidence enough.
What pleasure he felt, seeing the boy squirm uncomfortably as he flailed his tongue by his soft, pale cheek! The sight of distress in the youth’s eyes was almost intoxicating. As was the scent of human blood on the air and the cries of mortal pain.
And as Ghirahim stumbled backwards, stroking the deep gashes caused by the glowing blue blade, he couldn’t help but smile at the sight of his own blood splattered upon the boy’s beautiful face.
