V. busy and sick but posting anyway

Ok, so Cirque Dreams Illumintaion is not Cirque du Soleil so I decided not to waste my 25 bucks on something that might have been good but is pretending to be something else.
Just as well, my weekend was a little cramped.
Sunday's picnic was lovely, but
Saturday was a little crazy.
Fun
But crazy.
At least I now know that I am capable of taking charge and rearranging several last minute engagements involving several different people, assuming I have the motivation of panic-level urgency and my cell phone is close-by and charged.
I just wish I knew what is going on with my sister's birthday goings on. Because THAT I am NOT in charge of..I'm just making the cake. And that is more than enough for right now.
And I suppose that's usually the way. Nothing really going on for a few weeks and then BOOM, 20 things all have to happen on the same day.
