So in the search for medical info on the web, I have discovered that medical info seems to come in only two languages.
1. So basic and common sensical to be virtually worthless and
2. Latin
Although I did learn that iodine is apparently not the best idea for cleaning a wound because it interferes with normal healing. This was confirmed by the doctor who looked at my leg today. Now kinda wondering why the emergency room sent the little bottle of it home with me...
Bad news/good news. I went into the Urgent care clinic today to have my leg looked at and the staples removed but with it still being a bit swollen, I was asked to give it a couple more days at least. I go back Friday. Bad news: I have more time to think of things that can go wrong with what should be a simple business. Good news: If something *does* go wrong, I've got a whole day before I have to go back to work.
And....really great news. I can take a REAL shower and it'll be ok as long as I go gentle on my leg (well, yeah) and make the shower short. Yes, styxrocks, you were right, but I get a bit paranoid.
Well, enough of that. I need to go clean up the kitchen a bit and do my homework for my cake class Thursday.
