do you really love your partner because of what he truly is?.... have you ever asked yourself why you love somebody? could be that you only think you love him because he loves you and that makes you love him back? aren't we selfish? don't we just have partners because they make us feel better about ourselves? dunno..just thought about that today
talked about roles and stuff today in psychology. what makes us a man or a woman? are we just playing roles? what does society expect from us? and was emancipation only a trick played by men to have more time off (let women work, do chores and raise the kids)?? and how do roles change and can you switch rolls? (might be kinda hard to switch gender roles considering te biological factor)
finishes watching the movie about a family in a concentration camp in religious ed. today. it was kinda.. weird. dunno.
("Holocaust and comedy. Two words never spoken in the same breath before "Life is Beautiful." To simply label this movie as such, would do it injustice. Every emotion comes into play during the viewing. You soon begin to empathize with Roberto Benigni as he portrays a father trying to keep the harsh realities of a German concentration camp from his young son. Benigni protects his son with two weapons that the German's could not seize: Humor and Imagination")
