The 17-years-old boy was stood watching the rain that was falling pretty hard, and he cursed his own stupidity for not carrying his umbrella. Then he just stood there waited for the rain to stop. After some minutes later he heard there’s someone who called his name.
“Yama-chan!” The called boy then turned his head to the source and found the taller figure walks towards him. “You’re not going home?” The taller asked.
“Just look, Yuto-kun~ how heavy the rain is.” The chubby boy sighing and rolled his eyes while crossing his hand in front of his chest. Yuto just chuckled. Really, actually he knew how heavy the rain is as well.
“Jaa, let’s go home together ne~” Yuto offered as he showing his umbrella to Ryosuke.
“Un, okay.” Ryosuke replied. He is really happy that he could going home together with his best friend slash his crush. Even though he always going home together when Yuto didn’t have any schedule at his club of course.
Yes, he loved his best friend since he couldn’t remember. But he really afraid to confess his feelings to him just because he don’t want to ruin their recent relationship.
They walked under the umbrella that belonged to Yuto. And Ryosuke somehow felt a little awkward with the atmosphere. They’re just walked in silence until the chubby boy broke it.
“Ne, Yuto-kun..” Ryosuke called as he looked at his best friend.
“Nani, Yama-chan?” Yuto asked as he turned his head just to found the chubby boy looking at him now.
“Um.. there’s something I want to tell you..” Ryosuke said a bit hesitant, still looking at the taller. Yuto somehow felt nervous with the shorter gaze and turned his head back to the road. “What is it? Just tell me.” Yuto replied a seconds later.
‘Should I tell him now that I love him for a long time?” Ryosuke thought and still looking at the taller. And Yuto felt that Ryosuke still looking at him now.
“Yuto-kun, I..” Ryosuke started his words after he gathered his courage to confess his feelings to Yuto. Now he us lowering his head. He tried to hide his embarrassment. But, when he about to continue his sentence, he heard a mumble from Yuto like.. called someone? Then he felt Yuto stopped on his track and the shorter stopped instantly and lifted up his head and turned his head directly to see the taller gaze. There, he saw that the taller looking at the chubby guy yet shorter as him with his friend? But why Ryosuke saw the sadness in Yuto’s eyes? Why? ‘Why your expression like that, Yuto-kun? Who is he?’ Ryosuke keep asking in his heart. He heard that Yuto called the guy’s name. Daiki. ‘Who is he?’
“Yuto-kun, doushita no? Why did you stopped at sudden?” Ryosuke asked as he waved his hand in front of the taller. He just pretended that he didn’t know what his bestfriend saw. Seems like Yuto snapped back to reality and looked at Ryosuke who has a questioning look on his face.
“Oh! Gomen, Yama-chan. What do you want to talk about?” Yuto asked.
“Hm? Nanimonai, not really important. Just forget it.” Ryosuke said smiling. Of course a fake one. Just to assure the taller guy.
“Souka. Then can we go to that café before we go home?” Yuto asked to the shorter as he pointed the nearby café.
“But, if you don’t want to go there you can go home first and just bring my umbrella.” Yuto added as he given his umbrella to Ryosuke. But, he didn’t take it.
“I’ll go with you, Yuto-kun.” Ryosuke said. ‘Everywhere you want to go I’ll go with you. Everywhere.’ He added in his heart.
“Okay, then. Jaa~” Yuto said as he dragged the chubby guy to the café.
At the café they just talked about random things. After 30 minutes in there, they then go home. Seems the rain has stopped just a while ago. So, they don’t need the umbrella anymore.
‘Should I tell him now? Should I tell him now?’ The question kept repeating in Ryosuke’s mind. He really confused after all. Until he himself didn’t heard that his best friend has calling him many times. He just realized when the taller tapped his shoulder.
“Eh? Nani, Yuto-kun?” Ryosuke asked.
Yuto sighed, “did you just spacing out?” Yuto asked. “we just arrived at your home, Yama-chan~” Yuto said while crossing his hands in front of his chest.
“Eh? Really? Gomen ne~” Ryosuke laughing awkwardly. ‘Yosh! I’ve thought about it! I should tell him now!’ Ryosuke scream in his mind.
“Yuto-kun..,” Ryosuke called as he bowed his head. “Nani, Yama-chan?” Yuto asked, frowned.
“About what I want to tell you earlier..,” Ryosuke stopped for a moment to take a deep breathe and lifted his head to face him. Then he continued, “It was.. I.. I love you, Yuto-kun! I love you more than just a best friend. Will you be my boyfriend?” He is lowering his head immediately after he said those words. It’s really embarrassing. Silence. Ryosuke was aware of it. Then he look up to the taller. He could see how shock the taller face is.
Yuto just didn’t expected that he will got a confession from his best friend. He never thought that Ryosuke has such feelings towards him. Not long after, he come back to his reality. When was Yuto about to say something, Ryosuke put his index finger in front of Yuto’s lips.
“No need to answer it now, I’ll give you some time. But not too long ne~” Ryosuke said with his sweetest smile that he ever show to him. Actually, he just don’t want to hear the rejection right away. Even though he knew that was the consequence for this kind of thing. Then he bid his goodbye before enter his house.

“Yama-chan, about the answer..,” Yuto paused. Ryosuke just looks down like there’s something that interesting in there while gripping the bottom of his blazer. His heart was beating faster than before. It’s time for him to hear the answer of his confession yesterday. Yeah, he has told Yuto earlier through the message that he waiting for the answer after school at the rooftop.
“Yama-chan, I’m sorry, I-“ Yuto’s words was cutted by Ryosuke straightly as he lifted his head up directly to face Yuto. “Daijoubu, Yuto-kun. I understand it. No need to say sorry.” Ryosuke said with a fake smile. In fact, he is holding his tears that threatening to fall. “Is it because of the guy you saw yesterday?’ That question just slipped out from Ryosuke’s mouth a seconds later. Yuto snapped to that question. Ryosuke immediately noticed the change of his expression. And he don’t want to asked further than this. So, he just want to left that place as soon as possible. But, when he about to open the door, Yuto’s words made him stopped directly.
“Daiki.. he’s my first love..” Yuto said with a low tone. But, enough for Ryosuke to hear him. He just could get out from that place as soon as possible. But somehow he couldn’t and kept listening it properly.
20 minutes passed with Yuto who tell all about that guy. Though it made him hurt but he keep listened to the end. And this time, his tears couldn’t be resist anymore.
“I think.. we can’t be friend.. like we used to be anymore.. after you know my feelings towards you, Yuto-kun.” Ryosuke said between his sobs after a pretty long silence. “Sayonara.” Ryosuke said again without looking at Yuto. And jus get out from there and if only Ryosuke stay longer with him, he would see him crying. Yuto thought that he really lose his best friend.

The chubby guy opened his eyes slowly and saw unfamiliar ceiling above him. He then tried to woke himself up from the bed and his eyes wandering that room. Then he realized that his is in Kei’s room. His cousin. Then he walks towards the bathroom. In the bathroom he just staring at his reflection on the mirror and sighing heavily. He looks like a panda. Of course, he’s been crying all night long anyway. After he washed his face and brush his teeth he then go down stair just to found His cousin preparing the breakfast on the dining table. Inoo who noticed Ryosuke presence then greet him.
“Ah! You awake~ ohayo~ let’s eat.” Inoo greeted smiling.
“Ohayou.” Ryosuke replied with a nod.
“What’s wrong, Yama-chan? Are you sick?” Inoo asked while staring at his cousin. He noticed that Ryosuke just playing with his food.
“Eh? No, I’m not.” Ryosuke replied a bit chuckling.
“Souka, eat then. I don’t want to get scolded by Oba-chan just because you sleepover at my house but I don’t give you a proper food.” Inoo said. Ryosuke just nods his head and started to eat the food. Though he don’t have appetite.
“So, what would you do after you confessed your feelings to your crush and got rejected by him?” Inoo asked after finished their breakfast and now they’re watching TV in family room. Ryosuke a bit stiffened to the question.
“Dunno. I still can’t erase this feelings for him.” Ryosuke replied after silence for a while with a bitter smile.
“Just move on, Yama-chan. There’s still another person in this world you know.” Inoo said annoyingly. He just don’t like if he saw his cousin in this state just because of that guy named Nakajima Yuto.
“I.. I just can’t.. I don’t know why. The more I try to forget my feelings for him the more this feelings can’t be vanished right away. I know that I’m pathetic.” Ryosuke said laughing awkwardly and unconsciously a lone tear falling from his pretty eyes. Then Inoo embraced him and leaned the chubby guy head against his shoulder.
“Just cry if it’ll makes you feel better.” Inoo’s words just makes his tears falling swiftly. And now he crying hardly.
Ryosuke ended his crying for almost 30 minutes. Then when he feel a bit well he decided to walks to the park for refresh his mind.
As he arrived at the park he searching for the not-really-crowded spot for him to laying. It’s Sunday aster all and the park looks quite crowded. When he already finds the good spot he immediately laid there and placing the back of his palm on his forehead then closed his eyes.
Somehow he remembered all of what Yuto told him yesterday. All about Daiki. Ryosuke thought he was a lucky man who could be Yuto’s first love. And how could he refuse Yuto’s feelings?! Yeah, Yuto told him that he ever confessed to that guy named Daiki and got rejected just because he has someone else he love. Ryosuke could feel the pain of a broken heart because he just felt it yesterday. Even ‘til now he still can feel it. Without him realize he has fell asleep just because too much thinking about those stuff.
Ryosuke opened his eyes slowly when he felt there’s someone poked his left cheek while calling him.
“Yama-chan, did you have a plan to sleep here?” Asked the guy who has poked his cheek. It’s Kei. Ryosuke then get up and sit beside his cousin.
“Inoo-chan, why are you here?” Ryosuke asked as he rubbed his eyes then he look at his watch. 12.30 pm. He fell asllep for almost 3 hours?
“Just want to pick you up~ I know that you are the person who easily fell asleep anywhere and anytime. So, I think that you fell asleep in here. And I know you must not have lunch yet, right?” Kei said giggling when he remembered his cousin’s habit. Yeah, Ryosuke indeed has that kind of habit and he feel a bit embarrass if there’s someone who remembered him about his habit.
“Mou.. stop it. It’s not funny.” Ryosuke whined.
“Hai, hai. Jaa, let’s go to the café. Maybe Kota was waiting for us there since his office was quite near to the café.” Kei said.
“Aa, souka. Jaa, let’s go.” Ryosuke replied as he get up from there. They then go to the café. As they arrived, they immediately walks towards Yabu’s seat.
“Kou-chan~ gomen we’re late.” Kei apologized to Yabu as he kissed his left cheek. Yabu Kota, he is Kei’s boyfriend and he also live together with Kei.
“Daijoubu, I just arrived as well.” Kota said smiling. “Ah! Hey, Yama-chan~” Yabu greeted Ryosuke when he saw him at his boyfriend’s back.
“Hey, Yabu-kun.” Ryosuke replied as he raising his hand a little. Then they both take a seat. After they ordered the meal, they talked about stuffs before the meal is ready. Sometimes Yabu threw some jokes just for make Ryosuke to cheer up. He knew about his problem after all. 7minutes later the meal is ready they they both eat their own lunch. After have lunch Yabu back to his office while those two go home straightly.

The next day at school Ryosuke has avoided Yuto for almost all day. He even changed his seat into the front because he felt that he was being stared by Yuto. Although they got bump into each other, Ryosuke just pretending that he didn’t know him. Until the school ended, Ryosuke still trying to avoided Yuto. But for now (maybe) he can’t just because they have to finished their task that given by Sasaki-sensei to them. Yes, them. Ryosuke and Yuto. The room was silence until Yuto have courage to broke it.
“Yama-chan..” The taller called with a low tone.
Silence.
“Why you avoided me?” Yuto asked sadly and the shorter just remain silence.
One the other hand, Ryosuke trying his best to not letting himself crying. How he missed Yuto so much. Actually he really want to talk to him but just look at his eyes he had felt like crying. How pathetic, he know. That’s why he want to finished those task as soon as possible and go home straightly.
Then the room become silence again. They’re busy with their own thoughts. They then finished the task for almost 30 minutes. Then, they go to teacher’s room for give those paper to Sasaki-sensei. after that they headed out the school.
Ryosuke still trying to avoided Yuto with accelerating his pace. But Yuto still insist want to talk to Ryosuke. So, he grabbed his wrist and dragged him to the back of the lab building.
“Let me go! It’s hurt!” Ryosuke shouted with anger as he struggled. Instead of the answer, Yuto keep dragging him. As they arrived Yuto pinned him to the wall immediately and kissed him without warning. He widened his eyes. He was too shocked by the sudden action from the taller. He pushed Yuto with all his might. But, unfortunately he’s too strong. He had no idea why Yuto become like this at sudden.
After some minutes, Yuto broke the kiss and hugged Ryosuke as he don’t let him go. No one knows since when Ryosuke has been crying.
“Don’t cry, please.” Yuto said softly like he wanted to cry.
“Why.. are you doing this.. to me?” Ryosuke asked between his sobs.
“I love you, Yama-chan.” Yuto replied after some minutes. He tighten his hug. Ryosuke shocked instantly. He couldn’t believed what he heard just now. Yuto who has rejected him, now confessed his feelings?!
“Don’t playing with my feelings!!” Ryosuke burst out. He struggled even more and Yuto loosened his hug then he holding Ryosuke’s shoulder. Now he can see the tears that flowing swiftly from his pretty eyes.
“No, I’m not! Sorry if I just realized it now. It’s hurt when I look you sad just because of me. Sorry.” Yuto said as he hugged the shorter again.

“I am. But it’s past. And now I have someone that I want to protect with all of my strength for the rest of my life. And it’s you, Yamada Ryosuke.” Yuto said as he look at Ryosuke’s eyes directly. “Please believe me.” Yuto continued when he sees there’ still doubt in his pretty eyes.
“Can I.. can I believe in you?” Ryosuke asked while looking at the taller eyes with full of hope. Yuto just nodded his head and smiling gently.
Ryosuke smiling instantly though there’s still tears that flowing from his eyes. Not a sadness but happiness. Then Yuto leaned down to closed the gap between them and captured his lips softly. Without thinking Ryosuke replied that kiss. Now his hand pulled Yuto’s head to deepen the kiss. As the time pass by, the kiss become more passionate and Yuto licked Ryosuke’s bottom lips, asking for an entrance. The shorter then gladly open it for him and their tongue dancing with Yuto who lead it. And Yuto’s hands began to unbutton Ryosuke’s shirt one by one. “Yama-chan, about the answer..,” Yuto paused. Ryosuke just looks down like there’s something that interesting in there while gripping the bottom of his blazer. His heart was beating faster than before. It’s time for him to hear the answer of his confession yesterday. Yeah, he has told Yuto earlier through the message that he waiting for the answer after school at the rooftop.
“Yama-chan, I’m sorry, I-“ Yuto’s words was cutted by Ryosuke straightly as he lifted his head up directly to face Yuto. “Daijoubu, Yuto-kun. I understand it. No need to say sorry.” Ryosuke said with a fake smile. In fact, he is holding his tears that threatening to fall. “Is it because of the guy you saw yesterday?’ That question just slipped out from Ryosuke’s mouth a seconds later. Yuto snapped to that question. Ryosuke immediately noticed the change of his expression. And he don’t want to asked further than this. So, he just want to left that place as soon as possible. But, when he about to open the door, Yuto’s words made him stopped directly.
“Daiki.. he’s my first love..” Yuto said with a low tone. But, enough for Ryosuke to hear him. He just could get out from that place as soon as possible. But somehow he couldn’t and kept listening it properly.
20 minutes passed with Yuto who tell all about that guy. Though it made him hurt but he keep listened to the end. And this time, his tears couldn’t be resist anymore.
“I think.. we can’t be friend.. like we used to be anymore.. after you know my feelings towards you, Yuto-kun.” Ryosuke said between his sobs after a pretty long silence. “Sayonara.” Ryosuke said again without looking at Yuto. And jus get out from there and if only Ryosuke stay longer with him, he would see him crying. Yuto thought that he really lose his best friend.

The chubby guy opened his eyes slowly and saw unfamiliar ceiling above him. He then tried to woke himself up from the bed and his eyes wandering that room. Then he realized that his is in Kei’s room. His cousin. Then he walks towards the bathroom. In the bathroom he just staring at his reflection on the mirror and sighing heavily. He looks like a panda. Of course, he’s been crying all night long anyway. After he washed his face and brush his teeth he then go down stair just to found His cousin preparing the breakfast on the dining table. Inoo who noticed Ryosuke presence then greet him.
“Ah! You awake~ ohayo~ let’s eat.” Inoo greeted smiling.
“Ohayou.” Ryosuke replied with a nod.
“What’s wrong, Yama-chan? Are you sick?” Inoo asked while staring at his cousin. He noticed that Ryosuke just playing with his food.
“Eh? No, I’m not.” Ryosuke replied a bit chuckling.
“Souka, eat then. I don’t want to get scolded by Oba-chan just because you sleepover at my house but I don’t give you a proper food.” Inoo said. Ryosuke just nods his head and started to eat the food. Though he don’t have appetite.
“So, what would you do after you confessed your feelings to your crush and got rejected by him?” Inoo asked after finished their breakfast and now they’re watching TV in family room. Ryosuke a bit stiffened to the question.
“Dunno. I still can’t erase this feelings for him.” Ryosuke replied after silence for a while with a bitter smile.
“Just move on, Yama-chan. There’s still another person in this world you know.” Inoo said annoyingly. He just don’t like if he saw his cousin in this state just because of that guy named Nakajima Yuto.
“I.. I just can’t.. I don’t know why. The more I try to forget my feelings for him the more this feelings can’t be vanished right away. I know that I’m pathetic.” Ryosuke said laughing awkwardly and unconsciously a lone tear falling from his pretty eyes. Then Inoo embraced him and leaned the chubby guy head against his shoulder.
“Just cry if it’ll makes you feel better.” Inoo’s words just makes his tears falling swiftly. And now he crying hardly.
Ryosuke ended his crying for almost 30 minutes. Then when he feel a bit well he decided to walks to the park for refresh his mind.
As he arrived at the park he searching for the not-really-crowded spot for him to laying. It’s Sunday aster all and the park looks quite crowded. When he already finds the good spot he immediately laid there and placing the back of his palm on his forehead then closed his eyes.
Somehow he remembered all of what Yuto told him yesterday. All about Daiki. Ryosuke thought he was a lucky man who could be Yuto’s first love. And how could he refuse Yuto’s feelings?! Yeah, Yuto told him that he ever confessed to that guy named Daiki and got rejected just because he has someone else he love. Ryosuke could feel the pain of a broken heart because he just felt it yesterday. Even ‘til now he still can feel it. Without him realize he has fell asleep just because too much thinking about those stuff.
Ryosuke opened his eyes slowly when he felt there’s someone poked his left cheek while calling him.
“Yama-chan, did you have a plan to sleep here?” Asked the guy who has poked his cheek. It’s Kei. Ryosuke then get up and sit beside his cousin.
“Inoo-chan, why are you here?” Ryosuke asked as he rubbed his eyes then he look at his watch. 12.30 pm. He fell asllep for almost 3 hours?
“Just want to pick you up~ I know that you are the person who easily fell asleep anywhere and anytime. So, I think that you fell asleep in here. And I know you must not have lunch yet, right?” Kei said giggling when he remembered his cousin’s habit. Yeah, Ryosuke indeed has that kind of habit and he feel a bit embarrass if there’s someone who remembered him about his habit.
“Mou.. stop it. It’s not funny.” Ryosuke whined.
“Hai, hai. Jaa, let’s go to the café. Maybe Kota was waiting for us there since his office was quite near to the café.” Kei said.
“Aa, souka. Jaa, let’s go.” Ryosuke replied as he get up from there. They then go to the café. As they arrived, they immediately walks towards Yabu’s seat.
“Kou-chan~ gomen we’re late.” Kei apologized to Yabu as he kissed his left cheek. Yabu Kota, he is Kei’s boyfriend and he also live together with Kei.
“Daijoubu, I just arrived as well.” Kota said smiling. “Ah! Hey, Yama-chan~” Yabu greeted Ryosuke when he saw him at his boyfriend’s back.
“Hey, Yabu-kun.” Ryosuke replied as he raising his hand a little. Then they both take a seat. After they ordered the meal, they talked about stuffs before the meal is ready. Sometimes Yabu threw some jokes just for make Ryosuke to cheer up. He knew about his problem after all. 7minutes later the meal is ready they they both eat their own lunch. After have lunch Yabu back to his office while those two go home straightly.

The next day at school Ryosuke has avoided Yuto for almost all day. He even changed his seat into the front because he felt that he was being stared by Yuto. Although they got bump into each other, Ryosuke just pretending that he didn’t know him. Until the school ended, Ryosuke still trying to avoided Yuto. But for now (maybe) he can’t just because they have to finished their task that given by Sasaki-sensei to them. Yes, them. Ryosuke and Yuto. The room was silence until Yuto have courage to broke it.
“Yama-chan..” The taller called with a low tone.
Silence.
“Why you avoided me?” Yuto asked sadly and the shorter just remain silence.
One the other hand, Ryosuke trying his best to not letting himself crying. How he missed Yuto so much. Actually he really want to talk to him but just look at his eyes he had felt like crying. How pathetic, he know. That’s why he want to finished those task as soon as possible and go home straightly.
Then the room become silence again. They’re busy with their own thoughts. They then finished the task for almost 30 minutes. Then, they go to teacher’s room for give those paper to Sasaki-sensei. after that they headed out the school.
Ryosuke still trying to avoided Yuto with accelerating his pace. But Yuto still insist want to talk to Ryosuke. So, he grabbed his wrist and dragged him to the back of the lab building.
“Let me go! It’s hurt!” Ryosuke shouted with anger as he struggled. Instead of the answer, Yuto keep dragging him. As they arrived Yuto pinned him to the wall immediately and kissed him without warning. He widened his eyes. He was too shocked by the sudden action from the taller. He pushed Yuto with all his might. But, unfortunately he’s too strong. He had no idea why Yuto become like this at sudden.
After some minutes, Yuto broke the kiss and hugged Ryosuke as he don’t let him go. No one knows since when Ryosuke has been crying.
“Don’t cry, please.” Yuto said softly like he wanted to cry.
“Why.. are you doing this.. to me?” Ryosuke asked between his sobs.
“I love you, Yama-chan.” Yuto replied after some minutes. He tighten his hug. Ryosuke shocked instantly. He couldn’t believed what he heard just now. Yuto who has rejected him, now confessed his feelings?!
“Don’t playing with my feelings!!” Ryosuke burst out. He struggled even more and Yuto loosened his hug then he holding Ryosuke’s shoulder. Now he can see the tears that flowing swiftly from his pretty eyes.
“No, I’m not! Sorry if I just realized it now. It’s hurt when I look you sad just because of me. Sorry.” Yuto said as he hugged the shorter again.
“Why? You still love him, right?” Ryosuke asked and Yuto know what he meant.
“I am. But it’s past. And now I have someone that I want to protect with all of my strength for the rest of my life. And it’s you, Yamada Ryosuke.” Yuto said as he look at Ryosuke’s eyes directly. “Please believe me.” Yuto continued when he sees there’ still doubt in his pretty eyes.
“Can I.. can I believe in you?” Ryosuke asked while looking at the taller eyes with full of hope. Yuto just nodded his head and smiling gently.
Ryosuke smiling instantly though there’s still tears that flowing from his eyes. Not a sadness but happiness. Then Yuto leaned down to closed the gap between them and captured his lips softly. Without thinking Ryosuke replied that kiss. Now his hand pulled Yuto’s head to deepen the kiss. As the time pass by, the kiss become more passionate and Yuto licked Ryosuke’s bottom lips, asking for an entrance. The shorter then gladly open it for him and their tongue dancing with Yuto who lead it. And Yuto’s hands began to unbutton Ryosuke’s shirt one by one. And he broke the kiss only to trailed his kiss down to his neck and his collarbone.
“Aah! Ngh~” Ryosuke moaned as he gripping Yuto’s hair when the latter sucked and bite his collarbone and leaving a red mark while his hand playing with his now-semi-hard nipple. Ryosuke never felt this before. It just felt so damn good when Yuto doing this to him.
