“Ne, Yama-chan, I’ve fallen in love with Yuto and I think I will confess my feelings to him.” Chinen straightly said with smiling widely and made Ryosuke choked while drinking his strawberry juice.
His eyes widened, “Wha-what?!” Ryosuke asked in disbelief.
“I said, I-will-confess-my-feelings-to-Yuto.” Chinen repeated as he spelled it.
He felt like being struck by lightning. It’s hurt him. Of course it makes him hurt because he loved Yuto too since the guy was transferred to their school and be friend with him and Chinen since 2 months ago. But Chinen didn’t know about his feelings, not yet exactly. Actually today he wants to tell him about his feelings towards Yuto and telling him that he will confess to that guy. As a good friend, he has to cheer his bestfriend after all.
“When will you confess to him?” Ryosuke asked after ge returned back to reality.
“I think I’ll do it on Christmas Eve.” Chinen replied and his smile never gone from his lips.
He never thought before about Chinen’s feeling towards Yuto or indeed pretended as he didn’t know it. Who knows.
“Chii, I think I have to go now. I forgot I have an appointment with my friend after this. Gomen na~” Ryosuke said while looking at his watch as he getting up from his seat.
“Is that so? Hm.. okay then. Jaa ne~” Chinen said. Then Ryosuke bid his goodbye to him and headed out of the café.
He ran as fast as he could until he finally arrived at his bestfriend house. He press the bell as he arrived at the house. A few seconds later the door opened and a middle-aged woman appeared in the doorway.
“Yama-chan? What’s wrong?” the woman slash his bestfriend mother asked as he looked the visitor was his own son bestfriend.
“Is Daiki at home?” Ryosuke asked back.
“Ah! He is in his room. Just go up to his room ne.” Mrs. Arioka said as she invited him to go inside and walks towards his bestfriend room. “I’ll make some snacks for you two and I’ll put it in dining table as well. Just because I don’t want to bother you two.” Mrs. Arioka added when Ryosuke was about to go upstair.
“Okay, arigatou Arioka-san.” Ryosuke said and Mrs. Arioka just nodded her head as she smiling.
Ryosuke then going up to his bestfriend room directly and as usual he immediately open the door without knocked it first and closed it right away as he already inside the room. Then Ryosuke walks closer to his bestfriend who was laying in his bed while reading a manga.
“Dai-chan~” Ryosuke called his bestfriend as he sobbing. Yes, he was crying as he already inside the room. Daiki was sitting on the edge of the bed immediately when he heard his bestfriend crying.
Ryosuke sat beside Daiki and immediately hugged him. Daiki can’t help but hugged him back. He was confused with the
sudden act of Ryosuke. He cried like there’s no tomorrow.
“What’s wrong Yama-chan?” Daiki asked as he stroking his back after he stopped crying for almost 30 minutes.
“Chii..” Ryosuke said as his sobs was still audible in Daiki’s ear.
“Chii? What’s wrong with him?” Daiki asked confused.
“He said.. he fell in love.. with Yuto and.. he will confess.. his feelings to him..” Ryosuke replied between his sobs.
“Eh?! Maji de?! How brave he is. When will he confess?” Daiki asked surprised as he broke their hug.
“On Christmas Eve. And whereas I want to confess my feelings to him on Christmas Eve as well. But, I think it’s late. I have to support Chii and I won’t betray him. I have to buried my feelings too. Even if it will hurt me.” Ryosuke said as he was about to cry, again.
Daiki embraced him right away. “Just cry if you want to cry.” Daiki said as he stroking Ryosuke’s back.
Yeah, Daiki is the one who knowing Ryosuke’s feeling towards the guy named Yuto indeed. Even though he never met him because the different school of them.

The next day..
“Yama-chan~ I’ve been looking for and there you are.” The tall guy said as he squatted beside Ryosuke who was laying on the rooftop.
“What is it Yuto-kun?” He asked Yuto while his eyes was still shuted. Actually his heart was a bit shocked when he heard his voice. His heart not ready to acted as usual in front of him. Even though they were in the same class.
“Why did you avoiding me?” Yuto asked without facing Ryosuke. Yuto’s question makes the chubby boy flinched and opend his eyes and gotten up immediately.
“What do you mean, Yuto-kun? Avoiding you? Of course
I’m not. What makes you think like that?” Ryosuke replied laughing awkwardly.
“Lie.” Yuto said coldly. Ryosuke felt a sudden pain in his heart when Yuto’s attitude suddenly became cold. He bowed his head and felt like his tears were threatening to flow from his eyes. But he held it quickly. That’s right if Ryosuke tried to avoided Yuto. No wonder if Yuto asked him about it.
“I’m not. Really.” He turned his body then looking at Yuto. At the same time Yuto turned his head. So, they are facing each other. But, Ryosuke turned his face to averting his gaze.
Ryosuke gasped when Yuto hands palming his cheek and made him facing the taller. But the most surprised him was when he hugged him. Ryosuke had struggled at first but stopped when Yuto prevent it by hugged him tighter.
‘Don’t do this please. It just made me fallen deeper to you.” Ryosuke screamed in his heart.
“I love you Yama-chan. I love you since the very first we met. That was why I hurted when you avoided me.” Yuto’s word made him more shocked.
And without him realized his tears were flowing endlessly. He never thought that Yuto loved him. But he can’t accept him. He remembered that Chinen said he loves Yuto and he won’t betray him.
“What’s wrong Yama-chan? Why are you crying? Sorry if I make you shocked with my confession. I just can’t hold it anymore. I’m sorry. I really am. But no need to answer it now.” Yuto said worriedly as he broke their hug. But the chubby boy just leaned his head to the taller chest.
“Sorry..” Ryosuke mumbled after he stopped crying for a long time.
“Sorry? For what? I’m the one who should apologized here.” Yuto asked confused.
“I can’t accept your feelings Yuto-kun. Gomen.” After he said that he just left him dumbfounded. But when he opened the door he was shocked by what he saw in front of him.
“Chii..” Ryosuke stuttered as he stepped backward when he saw Chinen who standing there.
Yuto who heard Chinen voice immediately approaching them.
“Chii..” Yuto called him.
Chinen then turned his body and approaching Yuto and he hugged the latter right away. Ryosuke who saw it can’t take it anymore. Then he just get out of there.
“When Yuto was about to chased after Ryosuke, Chinen preventhim to do so. He hugged him tighter.
“I love you Yuto-kun.” Chinen confessed. Yuto then stopped struggling. Yuto frozed for a moment. He then broke the hug and hold Chinen shoulder.
“Gomen, Chii. I-“ The words that made Chinen felt hurt.
“I know that you can’t accept me. I just want to tell you about my feelings. Now chase him. I think Yama-chan love you as well.” Chinen cutted before Yuto finished his words with smiling bitterly.
“Chii.. sorry and thank you.” Yuto said as he hugged him. Chinen hugged him as well.
After Yuto broke their hug he went after Ryosuke and left Chinen alone. Then Chinen fell on the floor and crying hardly.

Yuto was frustrated at that time. He still can’t find Ryosuke. He had tried to look into his home but his mother said that Ryosuke hasn’t come home.
For almost 30 minutes he was looking for him, finally he found him. Sitting in the park all alone. He then approaching him right away.
“Baka Ryosuke! Just tell Chinen that you also love Yuto. Maybe he would understand as well.” Ryosuke keep blaming himself for his stupidity.
“Is it.. true Yama-chan? You love.. me too?” Yuto asked between his pant.
Ryosuke frozed when he heard a voice from behind him. But when he just wants to get out of that place, Yuto immediately caught his wrist.
“Don’t run away anymore, please.” Yuto pleaded.
No answer that come out from Ryosuke’s mouth. Yuto then pulled him into his hug. That make him surprised was Ryosuke hugged him back.
“Gomen..” Ryosuke apologized while crying, again. ( sure you can imagine how swollen his eyes were )
“I don’t need your apologized. What I need right now is you to tell me about your real feelings towards me. Do you love me too?” Yuto asked firmly as he broke their hug and cupped Ryosuke cheeks.
Ryosuke then shuted his eyes. He don’t dare to look at him in the eye. He just nodded his head that meant he love him too.
“Look at me and say that you love me too.” Yuto said gently.
Then Ryosuke tried to opened his eyes and he look at the soft gaze of him.
“I.. love you too, Yuto-kun.” Ryosuke confessed and his face flushed a little as he said it.
‘So cute.’ Yuto thought. “Yokatta~ finally you admitted it, Yama-chan. I’m so happy. Thank you.” Yuto said happily as he hugged him again.
“And.. how about Chii?” Ryosuke asked worriedly as he parted a little from the hug.
“He has confessed to me and I can’t accept him. He knows who the one I love is you, Yama-chan. And he could understand it.” Yuto answered.
“Souka na. I hope he will find his own happiness ne.” Ryosuke said.
“Ne, Yama-chan.. may I kiss you?” Yuto asked hesitantly.
Ryosuke was a bit surprised but he then nodded his head and they stared at each other. A few seconds later Yuto leaned down and press his lips against Ryosuke’s lips.
The kiss was innocent at first and after a while the kiss become more passionate. And they don’t even care about their surroundings. After 10 minutes they then broke the kiss for catched a breath.
“Want to go to my place?” Yuto asked.
Ryosuke just nodded his head shyly.
