I asked my brother Jerry what he and his wife would like as a painting for Christmas, cause I've got no idea on what they like. His request was a large painting of the Eiffel Tower. In black and white.
After spending ages looking for a wide shot of the damn thing, I spent a solid six or so hours painting. Doing the skeleton of one of the towers 'legs' took me fifteen or so minutes. I've just finished it today (started yesterday) and overall this took eight to nine hours of painting. Here's how it went...

After this, I grey-scaled it on word and printed the copy out. That was my basis for this:
This is painted on canvas using acrylic paints and was done over
two days. Top two are the first half of what was completed, bottom two
are the finished product.
Seeing as this is the first time that
I've painted purely with tones rather then colour, I'm very impressed
with how it turned out ^_^~
