Adventures in Q&A
So anyway, I've really got nothing to put here, as usual. But, somehow I ended up being asked a bunch of stuff, meme-style, by Jamaal, who is probably still working his ass off up at Red & Jerry's or something.
Anyway, I think the rules for this thing go "leave a comment, I'll ask you some questions, post the questions and answers in your own thing along with some kinda explanation or you'll be cursed forever with bad luck" so...
1. Okay, so you're in the world of Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. You're about to face Dudley. Who are you?
Obviously myself, getting beaten to death by Dudley. But if you meant I was also one of the characters from 3rd Strike, yeah, I guess I'd be player 2 Dudley with the cooler car. And I'd use Rolling Thunder, 'cause I'm sure player 1 Dudley picked some lame-ass Shoryu Reppa bullshit. The fight that follows will be made more ridiculous by the fact that we spend half of it trying to CROSS COUNTER each other.
2. Alright, that character sucks. Anyway, what's been up as of late, since I haven't spoken with you in a while (my fault for not signing onto AIM though)?
That's fine, I haven't signed onto AIM much either. Or at all, I blew up my computer a few times and haven't reinstalled Gaim. I haven't been up to much at all, just working five days a week and spending all the spare time either sleeping, dicking around, or occasionally visiting people. It's been getting kinda tedious, since I usually work in the afternoon and thus have no time to do things at night, but I've been making it work somehow! I'm wanting to get into a bunch of other crap, too, like Warhammer 40,000 and boxing and stuff.
3. Daz cool. Alright, you're in Dino Spumoni's Underground Pizzaria Gang and you hear the Yakuza are pulling a heist for money. How do you foil their plan while earning profit for yourself?
I've been playing Yakuza on the PS2 lately, so I think I've got enough experience for this one. Obviously I'll wait until they're almost back to their hideout, jump them, knock each one out in violent fashion, grab the money and walk off. If you steal money from a thief, it's not like they can call the police about it or anything. Chances are, being the Yakuza, they stole the cash from a place with too much cash anyway, so I could probably keep a good portion of it and use the rest to save an orphanage/children's hospital/low-key game store.
4. What IS your favorite TCG? I'm curious.
The Spoils. It's got wicked art, references EVERYTHING, and the rules are like a pared-down, tuned-up version of Magic's, though unique in its own weird way. The rules that really set it apart are responses, attack speed, and threshold. Oh, and the faction card, which I heard became more important now that there's multiple factions to play as. I should find a place in town that sells the new set and get me a Hall of Great Justice...
5. Any good games you wanna mention here, cause I know how you are wit yo games and junk.
Yeah, of course. I wanna give a shout-out to PSO Blue Burst, specifically Horizon Block 2 on the private server. I still can't find an online game I'd rather play more than PSO. PSU sounds cool but I don't have a DVD drive so that's that. I started up Animal Crossing for the first time in a year, kinda wish I wasn't the only person in Denver with a copy of that. Also, everyone's gonna do it anyway, but get Brawl, because it's Brawl. There's a 1000% chance we'll be having a tournament, all characters, Final Smashes, all items on and bombs set as high as possible, every stage but Final Destination.
Of course, high fives to any game that can get a bunch of people in a room together, screaming about how much fucking bullshit said game is full of. This includes Rock Band, IIDX, any fighting game, Smash Bros, Goldeneye, most games at LAN parties barring the one guy who sits in the corner and plays WoW, DDR, board games, and any single-player game that's played FFDog style.
