Bemoaning the senseless passage of days

QOTD: "A good chainsaw will get you an Emmy."

I paid an exorbitant sum for raspberries today. They were deceptively priced. I've done a real number on my digestive system today by not putting the right stuff in. I'd have done better if I'd eaten nothing but fried catfish and hush puppies... not that it was an option.

I managed to get my aunt's Christmas package in the mail tonight. Had to go out looking for wrapping ribbon. Ended up at a Hallmark, which seems to be the only place I can find anything even halfway decent when I'm searching for paper products.

The printable CDs I got last year for Christmas (that I'd wanted for at least a year prior) perform fantastically. I just got a new printer (specifically to use these discs) and the results have been extraordinary. I'm very impressed. We'll see how well their surfaces perform, but the initial display is remarkable. They exceed my exacting tastes for quality, which is no small feat.

I got my Huey software installed, but it had no affect on my monitor, which either means the software is defective in some way or the monitor is one of those few out there that's not compatible. I think I'll have to swap back to the small monitor to complete the wedding photos, as my video card doesn't have dual monitor support. I hope to resolve that issue when I upgrade my video card to ensure performance excellence with Star Trek Online, which I've decided to play upon launch. This redoubles my need to complete these wedding photos so that I don't have conflicting free time options come late January. My brother's helping me with card selection (and subsequent power supply upgrade) since I'm way out of the loop on these things. Apparently my computer's processor is faster that my brother's at the moment. I think that's a lifetime first.

Well, like I said earlier, my intestines aren't too pleased with me, so I think I'm going to lie down for a while / the night. How's everyone doing?
