Whee!
Earthquake at about 11:30 this morning. The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says it was a mag 5.72 and centered 55 miles NNW of Anchorage. Only 17 miles from the town of Skwentna.
So, not a biggee, but strong enough to wake me from a sound sleep and lasting long enough for the cats to start looking a bit frantic.
Looks like there's been six smaller ones in the same general area since then. Dang. They're feeling it in Skwentna today!
