Obviously people who design household vacuums and sweepers live in a sparkly pastel fantasy world where there is no cat hair, carpets with pile over a nanometer, rugs, corners, edges, or tracked in outdoor detrius. Because if they lived in a world where there was - THEY WOULDN'T MAKE CRAPPY VACUUMS AND SWEEPERS THAT STOP DEAD WHEN THEY ENCOUNTER ANY OF THOSE THINGS!!!! *seethe*
