Studied last night til my eyes bled (well, that's what it felt like). Tried to go to bed at a decent hour so that I could get up early and have time for more studying. So I went to bed at like... 10:30 or 11... I don't remember. I was close to finishing The Da Vinci Code, so I figured I would and that would put me to sleep before the end (yeah, that is a small commentary on the quality of Dan Brown's writing. Interesting enough history and neat information -wise, but how they're going to make that drawl into a captivating movie is beyond me). Unfortunately, between Dino's hacking and sneezing and general noises, and the cats all jockying for positions on me, I couldn't get a good reading trance going, and I finished the book before I got drowsy.
So I laid there, trying to fall asleep. Don't know how long, because I can't see the clock without glasses, but it was a good long while. Benjamin slept on my legs (15 pounds), Josef slept on my stomach/chest or hip (25 pounds! Oof!) and Sam slept on my head (12 pounds). That's 52 pounds of cats! I was very hot and uncomfortable all night.
Then, I ended up waking up probably a good hour or so before the 6:30 alarm went off, because Sam used my head as a springboard to lanch himself over Dino. He came back awhile later smelling of potty pan, so it's a pretty sure bet where he went. He laid on my head again and I stifled in the potty pan kitty aroma goodness.
Ate old pizza and studied some more. Figured out I'm right on the cusp of getting an A in speech class if I can pull off this last speech with glorious flying colors. Tonight I get to come home and study some more for the Anth final tomorrow. Then I am FREE free FREEEEeeee! Until May 22nd. But that gives me time to do some things that I actually want to do! Squee.
Yesterday was May Day, and I forgot to make my annual posting of the May song. *frown* Eh. I'm sure the world will continue to spin. My May Day celebration (we call it Beltane) will be this Saturday. I helped plan, but I'm not anywhere near officiating this time, thank heavens. If I was, I would have clawed my way up the nearest tall tree by now.
