Squats, why u so good for health but make me so sore the day after?

Seriously, 3 x 10 100 lb. ass-to-grass squats are killer. Had to take some weight off my dead lifts just because my body was all " nope, we're doing only one difficult lift today, not two. Be grateful we cooperated and moved up in weight on the overhead press."
