I love knitted dishtowels! My mum always had them because my grandma would make them for her and ever since I've moved out they have been lacking in my life. Store-bought ones just aren't the same!

Aweeeelol@lil!Issa not wanting to eat anything chicken because of chicken pox! I remember when we discovered that I had them that I thought my whole world was ending. I hope you manage to fight off your cold!

I had no idea The Walking Dead was premiering again - I will have to try and catch it tomorrow night!

I'm experimenting with some cotton yarn that I've never used before. So far it seems like they'll be really good for scrubbing pots and pans as well as drying dishes. I might have to change to a smaller needle though - size 8 makes the stitches feel like they're just a little bit looser than what they should be.

Knitted dishtowels should not be lacking in anyone's life. If you'd like, I could send you some once I finish a few more projects. I've got one more for Mom to do and then three hats to work on, but after that, my to-make pile is clear.

I would be super, super stoked to have some dishtowels made by you! (Okay so... that sounds a little weird haha). I would definitely owe you for all of your hard work though! I'm sure we can work something out when your to-do pile is worn down <3

Sounds great! I'm still waiting on my knitting needles to ship via UPS; the email I got said they should be here by next Tuesday. The hats are pretty simple stitch-wise, so it should take me only a few days to a week to complete/work on enough so I can get a secondary project in the works for either pre-work/lunch hour knitting breaks. I'll let you know! :D

Sounds great! I will try and think of something you repay you with (although there is always cash ;) - sadly, most of my projects are usually either edible (and maybe not great to try and ship across the border) or really only fit to be worn by me who won't mind their 'imperfections'. But let me know what you'd like!

Woo hoo! Craft swaps are the best! I'd ♥ anything you'd decide on making.
