(no subject)
Is the new DLC for DA2 out already? If so, I'm going to wait to download it because I need to clean my apartment this weekend instead of spending my time in front of the TV hoping to hear cute banter from Sebastian and/or Fenris, depending on which Hawke I decide to use.
(it's bad enough that I'm not even fashionably late to the fandom party and just now picked up the first Antivan Crows Assassin's Creed game. Altair is one badass bunch of pixels, BTW.)
I have a hat commission! Actually, I have three hat commissions with no deadlines, which is good because I just realized I don't have a 16" size 6 circular knitting needle and I really need that. Come to think of it, I don't think I have a 16" size 8 circular knitting needle either. Going to have to order those online because Hobby Lobby only carries the 24" variety. Blast.
And while I'm waiting for my needles to come in the mail, I'm working on part of Mom's Christmas present. I found a cute pattern book on how to make dishcloths, so I'm doing a set for her. Depending on how you knit and purl, you can make up a design in the middle. I've already done a ladybug one that looks cute and I'm going to start up a hummingbird tomorrow during lunch. This is the first time I've used the 100% cotton yarn and while it's a bit slippery on my metal needles, it feels like it's going to be good to use for washing/drying dishes or using as a kitchen towel. I still need to work on part of Dad's gift - I'm in the process of making him a roll brim hat, though I might frog what I have and start again with some nice wool and do a 2 x 2 rib brim instead.
Friday means that it's Payday Friday! Whee! I also beat my personal goal of getting all the "H" tap cards done, so now I'm working on getting the "I" cards labeled and onto Laserfiche and then prepping at least half of the "J" cards before 5:00 tomorrow afternoon.
