Got new movies in the mail; apparently I had set up a sort of theme when I had picked up my list of movies the last time I updated my account. This time is a Cary Grant marathon. I've seen two of these movies before, but what the hey.
Finished reading Peony in Love, which had been my vacation book two weeks ago but I never got around to reading past the first chapter. I really liked it; the flow of the story hit me right and the supernatural/spiritual aspect was really interesting. Doing a re-read of a couple of books sitting on my bookshelf right now. Hitting my Jenny Crusie shelf and remembering just how much I liked Cal in Bet Me.
Four day workweek coming up next week. I'm off for the 4th, which means that I can get a jump on some projects here around the house that I've put on the back burner. Going to the movies with Mom tomorrow. Have no idea what we're going to see, we usually decide right at the last minute what we're going to do while looking over the movie section in the paper or standing outside the theater. It usually means that we miss movie times and then have to kill time either shopping or going to lunch, which makes for a fun day.
