The high point of my day - I bought new socks off eBay. Black dress socks, grey argyle socks (cause I have a weird obsession with grey slacks for some reason, so need grey socks), trouser socks (whatever those are), and opaque tight socks. They have cute patterns and dots and sparkles and shit. I only wear flats, so my socks peep out of my pants

Congratulations on your sock-foo. I love socks, but I confess I buy all the brightly colored ones with pictures and silly patterns.

Once I have a job, I see a change in wardrobe happening, especially on the sock front. Since I'm just student-teaching now though, I try and look traditional. I won't talk about my giant furry hat with the ears on it though that I wear when it gets cold. I've gotten some looks from admin over it. :D
