Warning: Flood of emoness within. This is what happens when Joseph finds himself with a couple days of "free time", with real-life interruptions coming only from bills and application worries.

Oh. And I'm sorry I haven't been reading anyone's journals!! I'm such a frigging leech. T_T I swear I will try to within the next couple of days, whenever I ( Read more... )

OMG, Alice is back

I'm so sorry, Choi, that you hanging out with us (even though it was only for half a day) took up so much of your contemplating time. :( And the way you felt about your Christmas break--- this is why I generally HATE Christmas breaks in the Philippines, because you always find yourself in this oxymoronic state of pain and pleasure that rips through your body with the speed of a bullet. And it leaves you bleeding on the floor, cursing yourself for getting caught in the middle of the bullet and the air in back of you.

Metaphor aside, I wish you luck in your applications! *LARGE TANGIBLE HUG*

I get what you mean, though. Two weeks after like 3 years of absence is never enough. you get this weird sense that youre an outsider at a place you call home. it feels weird looking at places that hold many dear memories. we take things that are certain for granted ( ... )

Dude, I'm really sorry that you're feeling the way you're feeling, but that's all I'm gonna say about that. What I really want to focus on is this fact:

DUDE! YOU CAN WRITE LIKE NOBODY'S BUSINESS!!!!! I generally don't like reading journals where people pour out their emotions, but I was riveted the whole way through! (That sounds slightly fucked-up when I re-read it.) You've got this crazy mastery of syntax that just keeps me enthralled with your entry. You're amazing dude, and I wish I had your talent as a writer. I especially loved the way you interjected the character of "Alice" into the mix to add the interesting conversational aspect. You've for sure got a voice.

For a possible solution to your smc worries: apply for the Board of Governor's fee waiver. You supporting yourself means you could most likely qualify. You can do it from the Student Self Service system on the website.

And fuck yeah, I was mentioned in the entry!
