Perspective

Note - I've been compiling this list for awhile now. It sorta documents various thoughts I've had over the past little bit. But in the end, it really is all about perspective.

So I remember being jealous of college students for a number of reasons while I was in high school. Primary among them was their super awesome and long breaks. I have 2 more days that TJ does.

It's definitely hailing.

Sexiversary is the greatest phrase ever.

There will always be people to spend time with, but there won't always be people you want to spend time with.

Summer means ultimate and ultimate means fun. Whenever things are the least bit down, I turn to ultimate to make me better and make me happier. And I keep thinking that if I just become the best ultimate player, then everything will be ok.

Two people can be trying to respect each other, but have very differents means of going about such and end up actually just disrespecting one another.

Expectations. It all comes down to what your expectations are.

Piotr is the best roommate I could ask for.

When I first found out I had to write a literature review instead of a research paper, I was estactic. Now I realize that a literature review is infinitely harder. Because not only do I have to do the reseach to find out what's out there, but I have to evaluate HOW it's said.

Why haven't I gotten any emails in the past 3 hours? Oh. It's 4 am.

If you want to know where your heart is, look where your mind goes when it wanders.

You can't revise what you haven't written.

The point where you realize that your parents are real people and start treating you as an equal is amazing. (That was shortly after my entry into college.) And it just opens up the doors for a much better and in my opinion, healthier relationship, where you get statements like the following...
Quote from my father (as he's saying goodnight in google chat) - "zzzzz luv dad Yeah, mum to Metro around 7:30, Appliance lady comes at 8:30--no not THOSE kind of appliances!!"

Definitely have the Dell guy I was talking to on the phone hitting on me. At least he's located in Edmunton and not India....

Knees aren't really important for one's well being, right?

You never know what you have till it's gone...like your hair.

Or try this variation.....You never know what you got till it's gone....like friends.

And it's all right, because there's beauty in the breakdown. - Frou Frou

The heart has its reasons that reason does not know - Pascal

It's definitely all about perspective.
