It's been a really long time since my last post. Things have been pretty hectic. We've been having money issues for a while and it doesn't look like it's going to improve anytime soon. The Navy moving department is just now looking into our paperwork about January's move to determine if we have to pay back any money. Also, our car registration got suspended because the insurance was done through our rep in Michigan. Basically, California couldn't tell we had valid insurance because it was for Michigan, but we just got that straightened out. Hopefully by Thursday it'll be unsuspended - we really can't afford a ticket.
Eric still hasn't been able to get a job. Sometime this week he's going to go to Sea World and see about getting a job there. If that doesn't work, he might go to the unemployment office. California lets you get a voluntary quit unemployment if you move for your spouses work to somewhere unpractical for you to continue working at your current job. I think moving 2,000 miles falls under that category, so we might try our luck there.
In better news, my sister's wedding went well. It was long sleeved and she looked like Morticia Aadms with a white dress. Her hair was done as Padme on Tatooine in Episode I. She looked really nice. She had a bagpipe player (Damien's Scottish) during the ceremony and my brother gave her away in his dress blues. Eric and I both messed up when we went down the aisle since we had arrived that morning and didn't really know where to stand. Her reception was at Fox Hills in Plymouth and was pretty fancy. Eric bonded with my Aunt Becky who lives up north (with all the mentally/physically retarded kids) due to the Star Trek movie.
