Ratatouille
Caught this cutsie cartoon with dear just now. Rather entertaining. Brings me back to the time when I wanted to drop my IT course to pursue a career in cooking. Yes, yours truly here did harbour at one time the thought of becoming a cook or a chef :)
All too familiar, childhood days of messing around in the kitchen with mom, seeing what she would cook up for dinner and observing her methods of cooking. Heck, I even had my own wok back then. A reddish one I think. I was so into cooking, that my late grandma ( bless her soul) even left me with her small rice cooker.
The scene where 'the critic' Ego had a flashback, reminds me of how much I have missed mom's daily cooking (she cooks less now, due to work and of coz lazy). I want to take over that task but as usual mom is very adamant on how the kitchen has to be run. Perhaps I can cook for dear some day :) Hopefully he likes it.
Hmm... I wonder if that rice cooker still functions... I wonder..
