Accidental Double Shot
So after work, I convinced Teresa and Alicia(they're sisters!) to drive me to Starbucks. I got a tall pumpkin spice latte because I need to stay awake to write my paper. Said pumpkin spice latte was accidentally made into a double shot, so I've got shittons of caffeine in me.
I am hoping that when I finish my paper, I will be able to sleep. If not, I feel bad for my tutees tomorrow. Whoops. Also, now I need to step back on the spending a bit on my food at school/coffee allowance. 3.00 put me into tomorrow's food fund. ^^;
I might go to yogalates tomorrow? I haven't decided. I already dance on Wednesdays, but I've been meaning to get into yoga for a while, and extra exercise can't hurt? (Not to mention doing yoga tends to imply less back pain for me.)
I'll be getting a comp'd greyhound ticket now thanks to the douche at the Turlock Greyhound station charging a Will Call fee. Apparently, that's a no-no. *snorts* Glad I decided to report his ass. <3 *pleased with self* Just one more reason to stay with Amtrak. (Nevermind that it's only $22 round trip to Stockton, and I rack up hellsa points by taking short trips.)
Ten page paper due Thursday and I'm about halfway complete. I have plenty to talk about for the remaining five pages(that's the beauty of having an outline and filling in parts as you know them, rather than just writing a paper. I can't get stuck, because I already know what else I need to write about.) Those non computer folk out there, I'll be doing a modified version of this paper as my honor thesis, which implies a multidiscplinary aspect and thorough definitions of the computer science terms and if you're interested, I could definitely use more proof readers. I have a short article version due at the end of semester that will serve as an introduction, and my completed thesis has to be done by the end of Spring term.
Need to put in the paperwork so that I can graduate. Need to figure out if I should actually go for a physics minor or not. Need to see if Rose will be my adviser for said physics minor. Wee.
Also, sort of wound up. Waiting for a bit before hitting the paper to avoid sounding like this in professional paper. I am smart Tias. Gonna see what/how many classes I will need to take in Spring and Winter to graduate on time. :) Also, angst for needing to take a fourth winter term. Fuck you stanislaus. I may skip it. I want to try to skip it. Have two months off for winter break. It'd be nice, and a good time to accumulate some dough. But there's a class I'd like to take in winter, and some uncertainty as to whether I need to retake another? That would suck. Anywho...let's see. I need to take two more electives in computer science. These might be Database Management and Theory of Algorithms, because they'll look nice on graduate applications. (boo) But depending on if its offered or not, I might take cryptography in winter and then only have one more class to take in spring. Honors requires me to take a philosophy class in spring, as well as the thesis units. Need to harass Dr.Carter so I don't have to take TWO philosophy courses(the honors one and the dumb workplace ethics class) in my senior year. But that accounts for like....9 units total. 4 more units from physics will give me a full schedule. (I couldn't take enough thesis units to put me to a full schedule if I tried. :() So...actually, at this point, I should go for a physics minor just for the sake of having a purpose in taking one more physics class next term. XD
Anyway, it's eleven, and that means I've been off work for an hour and a half which means it's clearly time to write me some bad ass paper. <3
