The Knight and Time
Time is fleeting, time is cruel.
Time gives us the illusion that we will always have a tommorrow to fix todays problems.
Time makes us feel like we are immortal in the mortal realm.
Time makes us fools. Time makes us cowards. Time makes us focus on that which is less important.
Tempus fugit ad eternum... time flees to eternity.
Time waits for no man, and on this the Feast of All Souls I have to wonder... just how much time do any of us really have? How much have I wasted on trivial things like games? How much time have I spent on that which I aught not to? Worse, how much time have I spent worrying about this wasted time? It is enough to drive a man mad!
Yes... instead of this, let us rather focus on what time we have left together. Instead of focusing on wasted time, let us rather try not to waste more time. Let us spend our remaining days, how ever many there are, serving the Lord in each other. May God have mercy on us all, for what fools we mortals be!
