though i'm in the creative industry... i'm pretty resistant to change in regards to my personality and outlook on life & other matters. my work and personality don't necessarily go hand-in-hand.
as a child, i remember taking a sip of my dad's beer and since then, had never taken a liking to its bitter taste. so all these years i assumed i just wasn't a beer drinker.
anyways, onwards with the point of this entry...
i've always turned a deaf ear to the saying, "you never know until you try."
to try something does take courage... especially the unknown.
so i gave drinking beer another try earlier this year. i had trouble even finishing 1 glass. i just kept thinking... will this glass ever be empty?

earlier tonight, went to an izakaya. i'm glad it was decided that some beer had to be ordered!
as the beer was poured into my glass, i just kept thinking, "agh... i'd never be able to finish it off. i'd probably just take a sip and that's it."
maybe just all this time, i just had to try the right beer. i think i've found 'the' one.
