nyc!
birthday present to myself this year... flying out to nyc! finally booked the trip & hotel last tuesday. very expensive, but that's the price to pay for a last minute impulsive decision.
well, i handed in my vacation request on july 16, just so that it was the bare minimum of 2 weeks in advance notice. at that time, i was still undecided where i wanted to go for a trip... europe whirlwind trip, or the US(east coast, or west coast)?

so the past 2 weeks was a chaotic flurry of activity at the office. i wanted to make sure that they had all the campaigns, collateral material, & web updates they needed from me while i was on vacation.
so i'll be catching a red-eye flight on the 31st right before midnight... so i'll be spending the first hours of turning 29 on the plane!

what shall i do in nyc?? for sure i'd have to go to moma and see the statue of liberty... as my last trip in 2003 (click here) was mostly about focusing on school... nerding it out and not having much sightseeing done!

i'm truly looking forward to returning to nyc. i just realized it's been 4 years to the day since i left...! i can't wait to wander around and explore the city anew.
what a full 360. 4 years has passed. so much has happened during that time... 經歷的有起又有跌(both literally and metaphorically)﹐但總算學了很多人生道理...
i left the city on aug 1, 2003, with a broken left arm set in a cast...
now i'm returning to nyc aug 1, 2007, with 2 long scars on my left arm...
though the scars are slowly fading, my memory hasn't faded. it never has.
