(no subject)
Made it to Changeling on Saturday, I was already exhausted before i got there…but it was totally worth going. Had an awesome time as usual. Almost died twice and I think we lost like 5 PC’s? Oy. Next game I’m coming in all drunk and grieving, taking fashion inspiration from Shotgun Awe.
Which by the way was an effing funny storyline because he was blind all game and I was his seeing eye dog. He even wore this girly t-shirt that my character apparently slipped in with his clean laundry >_>
I wore this awesome shirt I got ages ago, wore once on a date and it looked like I’d stuffed a football down my shirt so i packed it away for after my reduction. It now looks great and I looked a lot thinner even though I only lost about 2 pounds. I just have a hell of a lot more torso now XD
Sunday I wanted to go watch the Glamourati practice but earlier in the day I noticed Id developed a hole in my right incision line and it looked infected. I wondered if that had to do with me feeling horribly nauseous the day before. No fever tho but it was red and nasty looking.
So I went to watch the practice anyway and then James took me to the ER to get it looked at. Like 10mins before we even got there I started to feel awful, dizzy and a headache from hell that bordered on being a migraine Still no idea if this had to do with the hole or not. If you want a really photo I can send it. Might even just be me spitting out a stitch.
Anyway, sat in the ER for an hour before being seen by a really nice, kinda cute doctor (awkward D:). He said if it wasn’t for me feeling so crummy he would think it was just a stitch opened a bit too wide with normal drainage but he gave me a bunch of Advil and Tylenol to throw down with a prescription for antibiotics. Then a nurse came in, changed my steri strips. She seemed to imply my surgeon is an idiot for giving me paper tape because the strips are better. She gave me a bunch free which was great because its like $8 for a tiny pack.
Came home, I can feel that area being sore. Headaches mostly gone but I feel icky and exhausted. Gotta call my surgeon in the morning to let her know about the ER visit and possibly make an appointment to see her. Hoping I dont have to because its a bit of a trip and pay parking sucks.
