to a land transformed.. thrust into oblivion upon your visit, none every able to solve the mystery...
Somehow you have stumbled upon my personal journal.
Hello. Around here, I refer to myself as Kestrel, though some other internet outlets will have my username as Azelith. If you've found your way here, then it must mean we talked somewhere before and share some common interest. Feel free to friend, though I will warn you my personal journal is very angst-heavy and my coffee-addled brain likes to spill random thoughts onto these pages. You have been forewarned.
Some more things about me? College student working towards graduate school, with the eventual goal of obtaining a doctorate. Currently working full time as a barista in a coffee shop, in order to afford rent. Part time evening program student in medical laboratory sciences.
I am a very... odd individual, to put it lightly. A decade of experience working in customer service means I am more outgoing and communicable than the defined "introvert". I am not shy. I am not a loner. And yet I have extreme difficulty making friends. I am extremely self-conscious, full of self-loathing and doubt. I overthink everything. I am extremely pessimistic. I try to look for the best in people, and more often than not end up being disappointed.
If I don't respond to your comment, it probably means I deleted my reply because I thought it was stupid and you don't want or has time to read dumb things like that.
I am a jack of all trades. My hobbies include ceramic sculpture and pottery; classical violin; baking desserts; sewing and cosplay; doodling artwork in pencil, ink, or on adobe illustrator.
Current media obsessions:
Video games: Fire Emblem 3 Houses, Tokyo Mirage Session # FE encore
Books: YA fiction- Vicious by V.E. Schwab.
waiting for book release: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by suzanne collins, Aurora Burning (Aurura Cycle # 2) by jay kristoff and amie kaufman, Blood & Honey by shelby mahurin, Harrow the Ninth by tamsin muir
Manga: One Piece. Shokugeki no soma.
The theme of this journal is Castle Oblivion, from the Kingdom Hearts series. It was my obsession back in high school, when this account was initially created. Many years have passed, I no longer keep up with KH video games, but I do not intend to redesign my journal theme. While I myself continue to change and grow in real life, I will indulge myself with preserving the nostalgia of my childhood on the internet, where things can be preserved for an indefinite amount of time.
