ica's verdict: This is PWP and very hot. A lot of fun to read for a simple oneshot. 7/10

Summary: Sold by an orphanage, Devin now lives under the ownership of a businessman. What does the future have in store for him; will he be confined in his small room with a garden view for the rest of his days or is there hope for the forgotten.
Warning: (sexual) abuse, minor under 18, violence, BDSM, torture
ica's verdict: Not for the weak-minded! The reader follows Devin's struggles to regain control over his life. The author does a very good job at showing Devin's deep-rooted fears and brings out a lot of emotion in the reader (that was the case for me lol. cried like a baby... >_<). By the way, Devin is 15 afaik. 7.5/10
Schadenfreude by 19 // AFF // ao3
Summary: Erich has never done anything wrong in his life. At least he thought so. But two stolen kisses bring him to Auschwitz and into the hands of Hauptsturmführer Ahren Kaltherzig.
Warning: Nazi Germany, concentration camp, deaths, experiments, violence, blood, rape, torture, minor under 18
ica's verdict: Not for the weak-minded! I honestly feel conflicted because I liked it so much. What happened in the Third Reich was and is still so wrong on so many levels but the reader gets drawn into this twisted romance and captured by its intensity. Very good writing (except for the horribly wrong use of commas throughout and some very weird syntax...) leave you breathless and on edge. Btw, the few German words and names are a bit wonky... actually sound completely weird to German-speakers XD And Erich is 14 when he is deported. 9/10

Summary: Eli hates Nathan, and Nathan hates Eli. But because of their mutual hatred and youthful stupidity they find themselves stuck on an island alone together. How will they survive?
ica's verdict: This was a fun story. Nice to read and loveable characters. The building attraction to each other didn't seem forced. All in all, a good read for inbetween. 6.5/10
The Phone Call by en kaiiz

Summary: Alton makes a call for some phone sex with his boyfriend but ends up calling the wrong number. Nathan answers instead and is now determined to find out who the mysterious man was.
ica's verdict: This is a very sweet romance story with loveable characters who grow on you immediately. The phone sex at the beginning is both refreshing and very hot. But it misses something to make it really good. A nice fic if you don't want to read sth too heavy. 6.5/10
NOTE
If you are still interested in the brilliant story Captive Prince, I encourage you to read it while you can. The novel has been acquired by Penguin and the author has asked them to let her keep the story online for free for another month (or now it should be like 3 weeks). Go read it because it's definitely worth your time! =)
