The Tibetan intensive is complete. Life a shambles. Anything happen while I was gone?

Brief fly-by: I'm at the University of Virginia doing a language intensive with very limited computer access until August 6th. I'll be around on weekends to work on fic, but not much more than that. Hope everyone's fic challenges and Big Bangs are going well.

The barbecue I complained about yesterday turned out to lovely. A quiet afternoon at the pool, perfect weather, minimal conversation. We rested long enough to be able to enjoy a Tibetan style dinner camped out in the livingroom of our teacher's apartment ( Read more... )
