[RL] Embarrassing Story of the day
well,
i guess i am easily get excited type of people. or maybe because it has been two years since i donate my blood. so when i saw the poster last week, i said 'yosh, let's donate blood next week' and i did.
so, i went there at 1300 which happened to be our luch hour. so no one was there hence i headed back to the office, eat my lunch and went back there at 1500. it was fine at first. blood type check. weight (dam, i'm gaining weight), background check, BP (117/88) etc lol.
so the donation process begin and i'm not sure why, or maybe my blood was as excited as i am, that i finished donate earlier than the person before be. the nurse ask me if i am fine, and i said i am because i am fine at first. until i step towards my friend, talk to her and i start feeling light dizzy. i told myself it's better to sit and the stuborn me refuse to tell the nurse eventhough she's a few centimeter from me. i drank Milo hoping for a fast recovery but no. even worst.
i give up.
still pretend to be fine, i asked the nurse. "why are we feeling dizzy?"
she looked me. "are you?"
"yeah...."
and i went.....
i heard the nurses rushing bla bla bla and before someone came to me and said "don't close your eyes. try to stay awake"
then she flipped the bed (?) and asked me to sit there, didn't allow me to sleep. (don't care though. i guess that's the procedure). she opened a can of an isotonic drink and asked me to finish it. take a little rest and heck. everyone was looking at me. /embarrassing/
i'm not sure the reason why i fainted though. i suspected that maybe it was because of the blood flow too fast. but the doctor said it always happened to someone who donated blood in a too cold or too hot surrounding which in my case, it's too hot.
ugh.. i want to donate again in another 6 month. but things happened, i'm afraid i won't be able to. i just afraid that i might give people trouble because of it :/
