Home Again
Well I'm all moved into my new apartment. Moved in meaning all my stuff is in here....still not unpacked yet though. That'll take some time and living in here to figure out the best place for stuff. Even then I'll probably move stuff around . Got everything hooked up in here; phone, electric, cable/internet. Right now I'm waiting on mom and Tom to get here with some more furniture. Few things they were storing till I moved like a nice dresser and tv stand and a few side tables. Once I get that stuff in here it'll be easier to figure out how to arrange all the furniture. I have a full washer and dryer in here, and I've already done quite a few loads. I came with a few loads needing to be down anyway, like towels and blankets that I had been using at the old place. Anyway, nobody needs to read about my dirty laundry. My plants still need a home, waiting on the furniture to figure out what'll be best in front of the windows for the plants.
Orientation starts next week. And classes the week after. Just have one more set of books to buy, got the other two classes on tax free weekend. The bookstore didn't have the third set of books out yet, so that sucks. I need to get my student ID monday and go figure things out at the student post office and blah blah blah.
I met my upstairs neighbor. She's also a bio grad student, just with plants. I already forgot her name :( I'll have to do some snooping around to find out (aka go down to the mailboxes). She's really nice and has offered to help and answer any questions, always nice to hear :) There's some meet and greet things next week so I'll meet some more people. These things are always goofy, but since I don't really know anybody up here I'll go see how it is.
