Chapter 69
It was early in the morning and Inoo frowned as he heard the loud pounding on their door.
"Coming!" he shouted not minding how rude he sounded for the knocker was ruder "Hika?" his brows furrowed as he opened the door
"Get inside" Hiakru then dragged him to the living room
"What's wrong?" Inoo asked confused of the sudden behavior of the younger one but all Hikaru did was straddle him on the couch and was merely answered by a rough kiss, he blinked continuously as he felt the pressure that Hikaru was putting on him to part his lips but he stayed put
"Part it!" Hikaru shouted at him as they pulled away and Inoo nodded shakily as he did as he was told.
Inoo started to tremble even if he continuously told himself that he was the one that asked for it, and to think that they were just kissing. Out of reflex, he gripped on Hikaru's hands as he felt them going further
"Stop..stop" he breathed out as he looked away from Hikaru
"Why?" Hikaru asked lowly
"I can't" Inoo shook his head, tears attempting to escape from his eyes
"Wh-what? I thought…" Hikaru's heart started clenching as he could read another meaning to Inoo's actions
"I'm sorry" Inoo whispered, but gasped as he felt Hikaru's hand hit his right cheek, he looked up to see a shocked expression on Hikaru's face
"Don't play with me!" Hikaru shouted at him though
"Sorry Hikaru..I was..I thought…I thought I was ready" Inoo explained "Stop it!!" he squirmed as he struggled away from Hikaru's grip and kiss "Stop!!" he could hear himself begging desperately as he felt Hikaru moving down his neck but then…it stopped
"I…I thought you loved me?" Hikaru stared at him with watery eyes, and there was a long pause
"Hikaru, I.." Inoo started but was interrupted as he noticed someone standing by the hallway "Ya-Yabu?" he stuttered as Yabu watched them with a hurt expression
"I'm sorry, the door was open and…" Yabu started feeling his heart crushing more. It was the scene that Yabu never wanted to see, Hikaru on top of Inoo and..and "Why are you doing this to him Hikaru?"
"No! Yabu..I.." Inoo straightened his clothes as he tried to sit up
"That's right, you came on the worst time" Hikaru said coldly, making Inoo look up at him and at the same time because he was gripping on him too much and Yabu look hurt even more
"It's the worst time to take everything back" he added making Yabu look confused
"Hika! Hika! Don't!!" Inoo's eyes widened as he shook Hikaru completely
"No! You should be the one who shouldn't stop me" Hikaru stared at him blankly, he slowly stood up and stared at Inoo
"What are you guys doing?" Yabu asked confusedly
"NO HIKARU!!" Inoo said clinging on Hikaru desperately "Please don’t leave me!! Don't!" he was on his knees as he begged Hikaru more. Yabu gulped down, this was how much Inoo loved Hikaru? He didn't want to see it, but why is he seeing it? But at the same time he felt his anger creeping up as he witnessed how Hikaru is not keeping his promise to make Inoo happy, he was making things hard for all of them.
"No" Hikaru tried removing Inoo
"NO! I love you! Please! Please! I love you!" Inoo cried louder as he didn't let go
"Inoo-chan…" Hikaru dreaded to call him like that, he felt like they were suddenly back to being friends, he knelt down in front of him and cupped his face
"Please.." Inoo said more
"I know you love me, and you know I do love you too" Hikaru started, Yabu knew he should be leaving by now but he could feel something that was making him stay "But you know you love him more" it was hard to get every word out as Hikaru started releasing tears "You know it" he whispered as he rested his forehead against Inoo's
"But Hikaru…"
"He's here to listen and I'm here to make things right…." Hikaru hiccupped "You've suffered enough"
"I…I'm sorry" Inoo whispered "I'm so sorry…I tried…I tried my best to…to forget" Inoo burst into tears and Hikaru didn't need another word as he looked away
"Remember, I love you" he whispered before planting his last soft kiss and standing up, he weakly took steps towards Yabu and patted his friend on his shoulder "Don't make him feel sad anymore"
Hikaru weakly walked out of the house, he wiped his tears continuously as their memories of being together came flashing back, a year and a half was too short…too short. And what made him feel worse is…Keito felt the same way before. He never knew giving up for someone was harder than breaking up or being dumped.
..
Inoo covered his face as he continuously cried, he was never really ready for anything when it came to love.
He looked up to see Yabu looking at him with unreadable eyes
"Leave me alone! This is all your fault!" Inoo said hitting Yabu as the older guy sat in front of him
"I'm sorry, I didn’t know…" Yabu regretted every single thing he did, he didn't know that a relationship can be ruined "I can get Hika…" but was stopped as Inoo locked him in a hug
"It's your fault that a lot of people are hurt because…because…" Inoo cried out
"Sorry" Yabu whispered
"Because..I love you" Inoo finished "I love you and I want to be with you"
