The First Touch
The first touch after everything went to hell and back was uncertain and awkward.
Ianto tensed at the hand on his shoulder.
"What have you got?"
"Funny sort of weather patterns."
In the brief moment their eyes met a lot was said without a single word being uttered.
At the end of the day they were the outcasts of Torchwood. Only they understood each other and why they made the difficult choices that no one else could fathom making.
Their bodies moved awkwardly together as if exploring each other for the first time. Now there was no hidden agenda, just two lost souls looking for comfort in the unwelcoming world.
