I don't think I ever realized how small the world really is before I found the furry subculture.

Last night was the annual ColoFurs Howl-o-ween party. It was really nice seeing a bunch of furs, many of whom I hadn't seen since last year's con, and others I'd never met before. I even ran into my previous regeneration (excuse the poor quality):

I had one of those "a-ha! moments", as math teachers call them, this week. Since new job postings for stuff relevant to my studies have dried up for now, I've gone back to applying for hourly jobs on SnagAJob. Having a fallback or security job is especially essential to people in the arts, cuz we don't get consistent work unless we're super famous.

The con didn’t start until the next day, but I took Stephen, Gifted and his brother Zontar downtown to the 16th Street Mall for some cheesy tourist goodness. Yesterday I went to Heaven Fest with my friend Leta...and while we were in line to get in I gave her this little gecko necklace and asked if she wanted to be my girlfriend cuz I like her and she likes me.

She said YES!!! <3
