Every night in a different place
A quick update before I leave Tanah Rata in the Cameroon Highlands.
Thus far I have been staying one day in every place - Melaka, KL, and Tanah Rata, largely to give me time to loiter some more in Thailand. I would have stayed in the Cameroon Highlands longer, but rain starts at 4pm every day and before then has been fairly misty. It is intermittently beautiful.
I did not mean to stop in Kuala Lumpur, but the bus I was catching turned out not to exist, so I got one to KL instead hoping for a connection the same day. (I tried this in Moscow.) It did not work. (It did not work in Moscow, either.) A very helpful local helped me find my way to the train station (as in Moscow) but (unlike Moscow) did not adopt me on the misunderstanding that I was a contact for an acting career.
