Conventions coming.

I would say I've been enjoying this weekend at home (my last for about a month), but I've been working. However, since I enjoy my work, it's a wash.

Next weekend (11-13 November), I'll be at Anthocon, a new convention in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I'll be standing behind a dealers' table for a lot of hours (they've currently got the dealers' room scheduled to be open 5-8 on Friday, 8-8 on Saturday, and 9-4 on Sunday; we'll see how that works out). I'll also be on one panel, "The Importance of Art in Fiction" on Sunday from noon to 12:45 (they're running two-track programming plus a room for readings). I know very little about the convention, so it'll be an adventure.

The following weekend (18-20 November), I'll be at Philcon, a convention celebrating its 75th anniversary, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. This one I know from much longer experience, but here, too, I'll be standing behind a dealers' table for much of the convention. Don't have my schedule yet, but what I do have is a room in the hotel… and no one to share it with. If you're looking to split a room at Philcon, contact me.

After that comes Thanksgiving, and then, if I'm lucky, recovery. Happy November, all!
