Seeking software suggestions

Does anyone know of a cheap (preferably freeware) program that will help me draw graphs or charts? I want to be able to plug in the data, and get a pie chart or bar chart or graph, and then save the thing as a jpg or gif or some sort of picture file. I'm looking for something kind of like the draw charts feature in Excel, but without the whole rest of Excel, with the ability to save the results as a picture.
