I'm going to make an Iowa City music blog with reviews, show listings, cd reviews and the such. It'll be fantastic. The first thing i'll do is a review of tonights Asobi Seksu/Appleseed Cast show, which was great (crib notes version).
I was going to drive to Chicago and do a review of the M. Ward show in Chicago for localcut.com, but it turned out to be on a monday instead of Sunday like i though, so that fell through. I will, however, be getting free tickets to review the Viva Voce/Shins show instead, and perhaps an interview with Viva Voce, so i'm sort of excited.
Also, Fabian and I will start a radio show on the campus radio station, which will also be fantastic and give us an in to shows/underground events.
Iowa City is the next Portland, or at least it will be when I'm through with it.
