Yay, we're open!
So tonight my mum and I went to the opening gala! We bought several books. It was exciting. Very difficult to remember that we didn't have to buy everything all at once. For me, I got Owen & Mzee and Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales. I'm nervous about working tomorrow!

For some reason (I really can't say why), I was completely convinced that my KnitPicks yarn would be here today. So I was very upset when I pulled up and there was no package. :(
I spent $150 at Ann Taylor LOFT today.. Wow. I like spending money in small bunches, not all at once. ^^;; But I got a pair of shoes for work and two really, really cute sweaters. One is just a plain scoop neck top, but the other is a pale yellow 3/4-sleeve cardigan with pretty flowers embroidered around the neck. It was the yellow one that drove up the cost of my total purchase, but I just couldn't pass it up. It was way too pretty. Can't wait to wear it. *^^*
I'm almost halfway done with Rene's Slytherin scarf! Very exciting. But I'm beginning to worry that I'll have to buy a third skein of green only to use a little bit to finish it. Which would not be cool, because I'm trying not to build up too much of a stash. Attempting this whole self-control thing.
