What I've Learned Pt. 1

Apr 30, 2012 21:41

I’ve learned much from this class, much from my classmates as well as my professor.

I learned the ways of better writing, the ways of better friendships, and most of all bettering myself. I may not have come away unscathed, but I won’t let a few educational nicks and scrapes get me down, I’ll become whatever it is that I want to be throughout the years. I have said it plenty enough, but I need to start living by my own words; live your life. Live it to the fullest and don’t let anyone else tell you how to. Take a step, breathe deeply, and let the pure air fill your lungs with life-you are alive. No amount of disaster can bring you down, because you have free will, you have the power to choose the life you lead. Live it out of love, live it out of joy, become the purest form of yourself that you can, the only one that you can be.

Go out into the world! Leave technology behind, and yes that means your phone, and enjoy the night air, the way the moon parts the clouds as if it in itself is a pure white blade giving you light, trying to replicate the day. The moon wants to be the sun, just as you want to be whatever it is you are going to be. You don’t know now, and you may never know. This fact shouldn’t stop you from enjoying life though.

With all that the world has to offer, it is insanity to not enjoy it with all of the compassion a mother shows her child. Show this compassion to the world and her all her beauty.
