Let's Hear it for the HARDCORE!!
All I listen to now is Hardcore. As in, "UK Hardcore" or "Hardcore Techno" or "Gabber" or whatever you call it now that millions grown men in girl's jeans think emotional post-punk with occasional screaming is also "hardcore".
Anyway. It doesn't matter. The 180BPM+ speak for themselves. And the songs have titles like 'AK-47 Mothefucka', 'Extreme Gangsta', 'Seriously Evil Shit Mission 3' and 'Trained to Hate and Destroy'.
If you're not familiar with this bastard genre, just imagine the same overdriven 4/4 beat running stupid fast with a lot of samples from Kung-Fu movies and Gangsta Rap songs spitting angrily in the breakdowns. If you're lucky, you might get a track with an MC who yells about fucking somebody up or some sinister religious bullshit.
It is awesome. Apparently this is "rave" music in Europe. I don't care how much I'm rolling, I'm sure I would still throw elbows if someone played this shit.
