I can never think of clever headlines for my entries..
so I'm finally back in LA. just getting back here has been crazy. the last two days have been some of the weirdest ones ever.
first I get "scammed" by one of the sky captains at the PHL airport. then my plane is delayed like 3 hours.
then I get to the airport and my luggage isn't there.
so I go back that night to pick it up (as it arrived that evening on some other flight) and am stuck in horrible traffic right before the airport where they're doing some checkpoint thing.
then I drive down to OC having to skip a christmas party there that i was invited to, only to find that poor Sara is locked out of her apt. and since i'm staying with her, I am as well and I we have to crash at Dan's house.
the next morning we are up early and worrying since we have Jess's wedding to get ready for that day, and the handyman guy is taking forever to get there and turns out of be a little bit of "doesn't think ahead" kind of person. yikes.
thankfully, we got to the wedding on time and that was all fine and dandy.
yesterday I drove back up to LA where I'm home alone since my relatives are in Tahoe. I camped out on my cousin's king size bed last night since I loves it and i need a little comfort being home alone!
In other news, I finally watched a long overdue classic, "High Fidelity" last night with Kiyon. so now I finally get it. I see why everyone loves it so much.
I really liked what John Cusack said about being tired of all the fantasies and how he's realized they are not real and he shouldn't waste his time on that. so true!
so its new years eve.... what am i doing? well insha'allah I'm going to two parties tonight, but i've been coming down with a cold/sore throat deal AGAIN so i'm resting this morning in hopes that I don't get any worse!!
last but not least......saw Thursday play again last wednesday and it was 7 shades of awesome! I they had to have played every one of my favorite songs! :)
