PRAHA.

City of my DREAMS.
yup it was amazing, and worth every cent I paid to get there and back! Let's just put it this way, Paris has got NOTHING on Prague!

I went for the weekend to hangout with my friend Michael and also Danny --both missionaries living there. They didn't know each other but I fixed that and they hit it off fast. Before you know it, it was dude this, dude that, guitar guitar guitar, strongbad and family guy quotes. I hope those two stay in touch, I think they will.

But back to Prague. It was absolutely amazing and beautiful and more than I could even imagine. I totally want to go back in September. I met some really nice missionaries at Michael's church and one of them is a vanguard alumni no less!! It seriously is a small world.

So we leave for outreach in one week, I can't believe it. I'm now half-way through and I have been learning so much its not even funny. God is revealing so much to me and I can't believe some of it is things I didn't see before, but thought I did. But overall, I'm understanding who God is much more than ever before, and through that gaining more and more understanding about who I am too.

I spoke more french the past week than ever before I think, so many random people kept asking me things when I was in Geneva, and then on my flight from Geneva to Prague I was next to a french man and actually had a regular, flowing conversation with him entirely in French! It was the best feeling and such a milestone for me. I feel like I have a lot of head knowledge --just afraid to use it cause I'm always so scared of messing up. But I was able to overcome some of that in talking with him, because its like ok, I messed up....several times...and the world didn't end!! Imagine that. It was like a release, like when I jumped off the waterfall last summer with Kiyon.

Speaking of Kiyon, my dear dear friend, she is coming to Europe after I am done with the DTS and we will travel around for 10 days. First we're meeting in Paris since I have my aunt and uncle there and we'll leave right from there on our adventure of adventures. Not sure what the destination list will be, but I'm hoping it will include:

-Prague
-Budapest
-Vienna
-Athens
-Lisbon
-Pisa or Naples

Michael taught me some things on the guitar this weekend...I learned a bit of Sufjan stuff, the john wayne gacy song. love that one. awesome lyrics:

In my best behavior, I am really just like him. Look beneath the floorboards, for the secrets I have hidden.
